This high-quality double-jointed eggbutt snaffle is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material gives a pleasant taste and smell. The anatomical mouthpiece design follows the horse’s mouth shape, allowing smooth and even pressure distribution, applying gentle pressure on the mouth. The design, combined with the unique properties of Cuprigan, encourages the chewing process and saliva production, which allows for a pleasant connection with the sensitive horse’s mouth. Mouthpiece thickness: 14 mm; ring size: 65 mm.

The eggbutt snaffle has fixed cheeks. The aids are more direct, and the bit allows less movement compared to a loose ring snaffle, making it suitable for horses that tend to play too much with the bit.

The double joint drill bit consists of three parts. The central section of the mouthpiece rests flat on the tongue, creating more pressure than a single-jointed mouthpiece. The thicker the central section, the more pressure it applies on the tongue.
