Sweet Iron bits are made of blue steel and create a sweet-tasting surface oxide through contact with saliva. This sweet taste encourages natural saliva production, which helps the horse foam more in the mouth and accept the bit better.

A solid mouthpiece (non-jointed) has a stable position in the horse’s mouth and applies more pressure than a single- or double-jointed bit. Maintenance:
