Composition: Weymouth bit with 45 mm long bars and a 14 mm thick cannon made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.

Effect: this Saumur Weymouth bit has slightly sliding cheeks and is a little softer than the Lhotte one. The thin cannons and the port give a slightly stronger and direct action than larger cannons.

Tips: Weymouth bits are only used combined with a bradoon bit and so on a double bridle or with a double bridle loop that can be added to any bridle.

Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.
