Designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, Dogma Chrome Light perfectly combines style, design and functionality. Its elegant shape and unique technological details guarantee comfort, safety and high performance to the rider. The molded ABS outer shell is very resistant and light. It is covered with a special textile material that is waterproof, scratch-resistant and washable. In addition, the soft ecological leather mask is hypoallergenic, washable and helps prevent skin irritations. It adds a touch of style to this model, which will be highly appreciated by the most demanding pilots for its fit and design. The comfortable and breathable inner padding is made from 100% Merino Wool: a natural antibacterial fiber that provides unique levels of breathability and thermoregulation. The inner shell is made of expanded polystyrene and has three levels of densities to guarantee total protection against shocks, comfort and lightness. With two honeycomb-shaped ventilation vents integrated into the polystyrene, an intelligent ventilation system in the helmet provides large volumes of cooling airflow, adding additional comfort to the rider. KASK is very aware that the helmet has to fit correctly to the rider's head to ensure the best level of safety. This is why KASK helmets feature KASK's patented carbon-look self-adaptive fit system. First introduced to the equestrian market, the FIT system allows the helmet to perfectly and automatically fit the rider's head by gently cradling the back of the head. Dogma Chrome Light is characterized by its shiny frame, a feature that is also present in other KASK helmets, and makes this collection truly one of a kind. MATERIALS FOR OPTIMUM SAFETY The outer shell of the XJ is made of pure carbon fiber, a composite material that provides an unmatched strength/weight ratio. The inner shell is made of variable density polystyrene providing better dissipation of the energy produced on impact. STABILITY The internal comfort foam (liner), of the “shape memory” type, which guarantees a constant thickness over the years of use, and the semi-rigid jugular cancel all the risks of overturning the helmet in the event of a violent movement. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a clip system much stronger than the scratch/Velcro system. It can therefore be washed (max. 30°C) at will so you can always wear a clean and scented helmet. PERFECT SIZE FIT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT A thorough anthropomorphic study led to the design of an inner shell shape that generated an unmatched comfort fit. There are 2 shell sizes available (M and L). Each shell can accommodate 5 to 6 inner foams (liner) of different sizes to obtain a perfect fit to the cyclist's head. The size chart is available from 53 to 61. With this system, it is also possible to follow the growth of a young cyclist. INCREDIBLE INTERNAL AIRFLOW Equipped with two front air intakes, the XJ provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled both from the front entrance under the crest and from the channel obtained by the unique non-contact concept on the rider's forehead. Cool air expels hot air to the rear extractors around the comfort foam (lining), making sweating impossible! This concept generates a strong internal air flow avoiding the need for visible and unsightly air inlets.
