  • The Pelham jaw piece combines the action of a snaffle and a bar and snaffle. The bit has a jaw but can be ridden with one or two reins. If you choose to ride with a single rein, a pelham strap is needed to connect the rings on the bit to the rings on the handles. The pelham is a lever action mouthpiece. The longer the scissors, the sharper the effect. The baby pelham has short legs and therefore has a softer spin than the regular pelham. The Pelham bit is primarily used on strong horses, horses with too little room in their mouth for two bits, or horses that have to get used to a bar and a snaffle. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced cyclists. The Inno Sense Medium Port is made of elastic plastic, a little harder than the Inno Sense Flexi Soft. The arch of the tongue provides more freedom to the tongue, so that the pressure is not exerted on the tongue but is distributed across the layers. This makes the bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or horses that stick out their tongues. The Inno Sense mid-port is slightly flexible. Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses, but are especially suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The plastic used is FDA approved, which means that the material is non-toxic and does not contain plasticizers. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece follow your hand easily and accept the bit quickly. TRUST equestrian brakes are traditional Dutch. All bits are designed, developed and handmade in the Netherlands. A team of technical professionals work on production every day. The tips are assembled with the greatest care and made from the best materials. Therefore, the quality control and standard are very high. In each design, the balance between shape, material and weight is always taken into account. TRUST bits are slightly curved to fit better in the horse's mouth. This anatomical shape allows the drill bit to fit better in the mouth and distribute the pressure better. Due to the wide variety of mouthpieces, jaw pieces and materials, TRUST strives to have a suitable bit for every horse.

  • The Soft Contact bits are anatomically shaped This double jointed loose ring snaffle is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material gives a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design of the bit follows the shape of the horse’s mouth, which allows for a gentle and even pressure distribution. The slightly curved shape of the mouthpiece ensures a little bit more space for the sides of the tongue. The design, combined with the unique properties of Cuprigan, encourages the chewing process and saliva production, which allows for a pleasant connection with the sensitive horse’s mouth. The bit applies mild pressure on the mouth. Mouthpiece thickness 12 mm, ring size 50 mm. A loose ring snaffle allows the mouthpiece to move freely relative to the rings. The bradoon is usually used in combination with a Weymouth Curb bit. The small rings leave more space for the Weymouth Curb than regular loose ring snaffles. The bradoon should ideally be 0,5-1 centimeter larger than the Weymouth Curb.

  • This high quality double jointed three ring gag is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material gives it a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design of the bit follows the shape of the horse's mouth, allowing for smooth, even pressure distribution. The design, combined with the unique properties of Cuprigan, stimulates the chewing process and saliva production, allowing for a pleasant connection with the horse's sensitive mouth. The bit applies normal pressure to the mouth and is suitable for hard-mouthed horses. Nozzle thickness 16mm, center ring size 70mm. The three-ring gag has two additional rings: one on the top and one on the bottom. The upper ring is attached to the cheek pieces of the bridle, the reins can be attached to either of the two lower rings. The less the reins are tightened, the stronger the influence on the polls will be. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with Pelham rounds attached to the middle and lower ring. The double joint drill bit consists of three parts. The center section of the mouthpiece lies flat on the tongue, causing more pressure on the tongue than a single hinged bit. The thicker the midsection, the more pressure it will create on the tongue.
