Francia es el primer país que ha adoptado una norma que regula la fabricación de airbags para caballos como Equipo de Protección Individual (EPI). A la espera de la armonización europea, la norma NF S72-800-2022 garantiza una protección reforzada al definir criterios estrictos para la superficie de protección, la velocidad de inflado y las pruebas de impacto. El FREEJUMP AIRBAG es el primer chaleco airbag para equitación certificado según esta norma, alcanzando la presión requerida y el inflado completo para una protección óptima en tan solo 98 milisegundos (para la talla S), superando así los requisitos de la norma. MATERIALS FOR OPTIMUM SAFETY The outer shell of the XJ is made of pure carbon fiber, a composite material that provides an unmatched strength/weight ratio. The inner shell is made of variable density polystyrene providing better dissipation of the energy produced on impact. STABILITY The internal comfort foam (liner), of the “shape memory” type, which guarantees a constant thickness over the years of use, and the semi-rigid jugular cancel all the risks of overturning the helmet in the event of a violent movement. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a clip system much stronger than the scratch/Velcro system. It can therefore be washed (max. 30°C) at will so you can always wear a clean and scented helmet. PERFECT SIZE FIT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT A thorough anthropomorphic study led to the design of an inner shell shape that generated an unmatched comfort fit. There are 2 shell sizes available (M and L). Each shell can accommodate 5 to 6 inner foams (liner) of different sizes to obtain a perfect fit to the cyclist's head. The size chart is available from 53 to 61. With this system, it is also possible to follow the growth of a young cyclist. INCREDIBLE INTERNAL AIRFLOW Equipped with two front air intakes, the XJ provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled both from the front entrance under the crest and from the channel obtained by the unique non-contact concept on the rider's forehead. Cool air expels hot air to the rear extractors around the comfort foam (lining), making sweating impossible!
