Perfect for combating hoof infections caused by thrush or moisture. Concentrated formula penetrates deeply into the hoof.
Specifically designed for acute cases, it slides into grooves and fine cracks of the hoof, reaching decayed matter, displacing moisture, and halting the decomposition process. Dries the frog, allowing healthy tissue to regenerate and promoting overall hoof health.
Flexibility, elasticity, and proper balance of the horse’s hoof require, among other things, the use of high-quality products. Hoof Dressing follows this philosophy. Handcrafted for over 32 years, Hoof Dressing is a 100% natural product made from animal fats and fresh laurel leaves, which release their active principles after a maceration process. Our ointment is not just for giving the hoof a nice appearance. Hoof Dressing penetrates deeply and nourishes the hoof. Regular use prevents the hoof wall from drying out, protects against moisture, and promotes horn tissue growth. All these properties make Hoof Dressing a remarkable product, widely used and recommended by equestrian professionals. Like all natural fats, Hoof Dressing hardens in winter because it contains no solvents or petroleum derivatives. That’s why we developed a winter formula, 25% richer in oils, which keeps the ointment creamier even at very low temperatures. Used by other brands:
Solvents maintain grease consistency but dry out the hoof wall Petroleum derivatives, such as paraffin and tar, clog the pores of the horn tissue, prevent it from breathing, and trap anaerobic bacteria inside the hoof… leading to their proliferation and resulting hoof rot
