The Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrups are made from aluminum and a special polymer material. Thanks to this polymer material, the stirrup has an elastic construction that provides increased flexibility and comfort for the rider. The ACAVALLO ARENA ALUPRO stirrup features a hinged safety mechanism with a small foot stop. The rider's weight ensures that the lock opens in the event of a fall, preventing the foot from getting caught in the stirrup. The wide, non-slip tread band provides optimal grip for the rider, and the beveled opening for leather stirrup leathers ensures a proper stirrup position, keeping the foot in the correct placement. This gives the rider greater stability and improves leg positioning. Sold as a pair The Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrup has a unique tension-actuated lock-and-release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support/tread plate. Once activated, the stirrup’s lock-and-release mechanism is easily and reliably reset. Due to its design and construction based on flexible polymers, this riding stirrup offers the rider a less rigid and much more comfortable feel compared to conventional products. The stirrup arch and foot support assembly with spring is capable of effectively absorbing and compensating for sudden, short-term impacts transmitted through the rider’s weight from above.
