When the helmet strikes an object, the shell distributes the shock wave, dissipating it. Rigid and lightweight, it is known for its high resistance to scratches. Made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), it absorbs the energy emitted by the impact by compressing. Therefore, the inner shell becomes much denser. The harness ensures that the helmet is securely fastened to the cyclist's head. It consists of 3 points. The Y-shape of the fastening system at the most distant points reduces helmet rotation. The straps are made of nylon and the buckles are made of POM. In contact with the rider's head, the high-end foams allow for a perfect fit of their riding helmet and optimal comfort. Whether the shape of their head is round or oval, they will conform to their morphology. These removable internal pads can be taken out and cleaned regularly to maintain the cleanliness of the helmet. The European standard EN1384-2017 requires that the visor flexes when a load is applied. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the cyclist. Therefore, the visor of the Antarès helmets is deliberately flexible. In case of deformation, it can be manually adjusted to return to its original shape. The helmet bag is ideal for protecting and transporting your helmet easily. It is designed down to the smallest detail, with a large central pocket and a big zipper to facilitate helmet storage.
Inspired by classic women's hats, the Miss Shield Shadowmatt is equipped with a long brim and a customizable front band. The Miss Shield Shadowmatt has been designed on the basis of the classic Shadowmatt helmets and presents the same technical characteristics (better dissipation of the energy produced on impact, no risk of the helmet overturning in case of violent movements, exceptional ventilation, perfect fit , comfort and hygiene). Miss Shield Shadowmatt meets CE EN1384 (Europe) and ASTM/SEI F1163-15 (North and South America) standards. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a clip system much stronger than the scratch/Velcro system. It can therefore be washed at will to be able to constantly wear a clean and scented helmet. Equipped with a front air intake, the Shadowmatt helmet provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled from the front inlet to the rear extractors around the comfort foam that prevents sweating. This concept generates a strong internal air flow that avoids the need for visible and unsightly air inlets: equestrian elegance is maintained without banishing technicality and comfort. The size corresponds to the circumference of your head at the height of your forehead, in cm. There are 3 shell sizes available: Small (S), Medium (M) and Large (L). Each shell can accommodate different interior foams of different sizes to obtain a perfect fit to the rider's head. The small shell goes from 52cm to 56cm. The medium shell ranges from 55cm to 58cm. The large shell ranges from 57cm to 61cm. If your size is 55cm or 56cm you can choose between a Small (S) or Medium (M) shell. If your size is 57cm or 58cm you can choose between a Medium shell (M) or Large (L).
The Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrups are made from aluminum and a special polymer material. Thanks to this polymer material, the stirrup has an elastic construction that provides increased flexibility and comfort for the rider. The ACAVALLO ARENA ALUPRO stirrup features a hinged safety mechanism with a small foot stop. The rider's weight ensures that the lock opens in the event of a fall, preventing the foot from getting caught in the stirrup. The wide, non-slip tread band provides optimal grip for the rider, and the beveled opening for leather stirrup leathers ensures a proper stirrup position, keeping the foot in the correct placement. This gives the rider greater stability and improves leg positioning. Sold as a pair The Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrup has a unique tension-actuated lock-and-release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support/tread plate. Once activated, the stirrup’s lock-and-release mechanism is easily and reliably reset. Due to its design and construction based on flexible polymers, this riding stirrup offers the rider a less rigid and much more comfortable feel compared to conventional products. The stirrup arch and foot support assembly with spring is capable of effectively absorbing and compensating for sudden, short-term impacts transmitted through the rider’s weight from above.
