Heat released from the horse’s leg passes through the micro-perforated neoprene layer and is distributed through the channeled 3D mesh fabric. Fresh air enters through the air inlets and directs the heat toward the exhaust grid. Therefore, ventilation is both horizontal and vertical. Composition: Complete snaffle with 50 mm rings and standard 17 mm thick barrels made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel), a relaxing and solid alloy. Effect: this snaffle has an action on the horse's balance. It causes the horse to rebalance and transfer its weight onto the hindquarters. The larger the rings, the stronger the embouchure. This bit combines jaw action and full cheek bit action, so it combines balance and steering. Tips: This snaffle requires special cheek pieces and can be used directly with two reins, with mouth loops or with four reins. Maintenance tip: Rinse the snaffle after each use to prevent residue deposits and so your horse doesn't feel discomfort.

If you choose to ride with a single rein, a pelham strap is needed to connect the rings on the bit to the rings on the handles. The pelham is a lever action mouthpiece. The longer the scissors, the sharper the effect. The baby pelham has short legs and therefore has a softer spin than the regular pelham. The Pelham bit is primarily used on strong horses, horses with too little room in their mouth for two bits, or horses that have to get used to a bar and a snaffle.
