The Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrup has a unique tension-actuated lock-and-release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support/tread plate. Once activated, the stirrup’s lock-and-release mechanism is easily and reliably reset.
