Description
The Jump’In reins are made from half high-quality flat leather and half rope, allowing them to glide smoothly through the bit rings. Each end features a hook for easy attachment to the girth, and the reins can be separated from each other using a buckle.
This training aid influences the horse’s neck elevation and is often used by show jumping riders. They should never be straightened like classic reins and should only be adjusted if the horse raises its neck excessively above the rider’s hand. Proper use of the reins helps maintain an open head and neck angle. It is not beneficial to keep a horse artificially “on the bit.”
